  1. I don't know who reported this sighting, but i was involved in 
  2. chasing it up today.( I work on an base which operates C130's. )

  4. The request from a lady who was connected with BUFOS (Might be 
  5. missing a few letters there) contacted the station reference the 
  6. following report that she had received earlier today. (14 Jul 95)
  7.  
  8. "      The person reporting lives in the Bristol area of the Uk. At 
  9. 2350 z on the 17 Jul 95, she was awoken from her bed by a formation 
  10. of three c130's. She watched them flying low level (250' agl) in 
  11. trailing formation heading SW towards the Bristol Channel. Whilst 
  12. still in sight in the distance, a numberof lights appeared in the sky 
  13. behind them. The objects appeared to be parachute shaped, but were 
  14. illumated at top and bottom. They also appeared to be hovering, and 
  15. not moving in any direction. After a few minutes of being stationary, 
  16. the lights grew brighter, and the 'parachutes' climbed vertically out 
  17. of sight. By this time, the formation of C130's were completely out 
  18. of sight. She then returned to bed before reporting the incident in 
  19. the morning.    "

  21. I can confirm the existance of the C130's in the area at the time, 
  22. and the type of exercise they were conducting falls into the 
  23. description of what the witness saw. (Obmitted from the above)
